It’s been several months since we had the KIZUNA Cup, and the outcome was overwhelming to say the least!

With such short notice, we were able to bring so many Mahjong players around the world together and compete during these tough times.

Since then, we officially announced that the organizing teams will continue on with the concept to create the KIZUNA Project. So far, we hosted a couple webinars with guests such as Genki Hirasawa and Makoto Fukuchi, and the first webinar was also done again and was translated in Chinese for our friends overseas!

As an extension on how we can spread the concept, we were in the talks of hosting a new YouTube channel.

This time, we also have a special partner from Japan!

If you’ve been watching any of the professional Mahjong matches in Japan, or participated in the KIZUNA Cup and CROSS Cup, you may have heard of Misa Kobayashi, aka Kobamisa!

We just did our first livestream in Japanese, explaining the concept and future projects! We did a similar stream during the CROSS Cup and you can find the videos on the KIZUNA Project YouTube channel HERE.

You can expect more videos in both English and Japanese periodically, so please subscribe to the channel!

And as a side note, this doesn't mean that Riichi Mahjong Central will cease its operations. We are currently in the process of moving, and once we have the studio set up, we will be pumping out more videos, and maybe even livestreams, so subscribe to our main channel HERE so you won’t miss out!
